Had all I needed for a longer stay. Ability to make a cuppa. Spacious. Comfortable chair to sit on. Large desk area. Good natural light, plus lighting, especially over the desk. Drapes easy on runners to open and close. Minimal noise heard from outside Bathroom simple but functional. Great shower Lovely pillows. Good TV. Lifts worked Fantastic breakfast selection. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Hotel has a big bar, lounge area Booked a taxi to get to Heathrow early. Someone from front desk rang to confirm at 8.30 the evening before, and cost would be £85. I found this rather expensive, but a bit late in the day to haggle over. The driver and car were excellent, but he did say he worked for a company that did private fares for hotels. I questioned it because the car did not have a taxi sign on it. The trip and time taken were great. The cost was much more than I was advised, by one of the desk staff, who said about £70. And I had been told about £40 by my tour director. But I got to the airport efficiently and in minimal time

I was a reluctant to stay here as read some of the negative reviews but I was working at Olympia and needed to be close by. I honestly don't know why this hotel has had bad reviews! The staff are so lovely and really welcoming. I was checked in by Salina who was so helpful and even rang through to ask if my room could be made a priority for cleaning as I had arrived early. The room was lovely and spacious and I even had a view of the London skyline in the distance which was nice. Breakfast had a variety of choice and all really good quality. The bed was a little hard for my liking but that's just personal preference, but the room was exceptionally clean. The bar is also really good and I had the best Pina Colada I've ever had in my life!! Try one, you can thank me later!

I had already checked in a hotel nearby, but 60 steps to get to my cramped, very hot, dark room! I put the fan on & went for a walk. (Only 19 degrees outside)! Came back & unbearably hot, actually thought I might die of a heart attack if I stayed! Found the Hilton online, cheaper too! The staff were lovely and I had a fantastic comfortable stay. Loved the air con & having a fridge for my water. The pillows were divine, bed comfy and a large flat screen tv! What's not to like. Can't understand why it's ratings are so low! Which is why i didn't book it initially, the hotel i originally booked had a 9 and this a 7! Just shows how wrong they can be!

I am giving the hotel the perfect 10 since I was in London many times and stayed in many hotels so I can compare the Hilton hotel to other hotels in the city. We booked the family room for me, my husband and my 2 daughters, the room was big and comfortable. We had a dining table big shower and plenty of place to put our stuff. The hotel is quite old so the decorations is traditional. I did not like it but that is ok.. this is not my house… the breakfast is great and you have everything you need. The cleaning team does a great work everyday (we stayed for 7 night) this is hotel to book again

From arriving at the desk the staff were lovely. We had been upgraded to a premium room, which was such A great surprise and so welcome after a long journey. The room was spotless! The bed a bit creaky, but not a problem. Tea,coffee etc in room, an iron and board, I hate going looking for an iron, so it being in the room was fab.!! The breakfast was just what we like, the choice of cooked breakfast or lots of Continental options. The restaurant staff were very attentive and kept tables clean and food stocked!!
